How Marvelous
Today I held my son on my shoulder. His little head was so small, it just barely fit in the crook of my neck. He’s so tiny - much tinier than we expected. He is so precious. I’ve heard others say how amazing it is how our love grows with each child. It is truly amazing.
Today I held my son on my shoulder. His head, once so small, barely fits there now. But now, his arm wraps around my neck, holding on to his daddy. Day by day, he’s beginning to express himself in words. He’s not too sure about this little person that mommy’s holding. Someone to share, someone to adjust to, and eventually someone to love.
So begins our life again - all things new. By God’s grace we enter the world. By God’s grace, we are forgiven. And by God’s grace we pass it on to our children.
